Step Out supports LGBTQ+ young people to have a safe space, to meet others, make new friends and to explore their world.
We are a social group, where people come to meet, and we sometimes take part in activities such as beach trips, Pride, days out or a party for Halloween.
Step Out is a partnership project with Cornerhouse, and we are very proud to be able to offer this supportive group as well as our newly established Pride Prom.
We believe it is crucial that our younger LGBTQ+ people have a place to express who they are, to feel valued and respected and safe enough to fly.
