Julie is a qualified youth and community worker and a Senior Lecturer in Education and Youth Work with over 30 years’ experience. She brings specialist expertise in youth work and community development, shaped through frontline and management roles in the NHS, voluntary and community sector and higher education. Julie brings a strong commitment to research informed practice, regularly carrying out project evaluations with youth and community organisations. As a trustee, she is passionate about strengthening opportunities, voice and wellbeing for children, young people and the wider community.
