We're excited to announce our Sewing Club specifically for neurodiverse young people aged 16-25!

Discover the Joy of Sewing

If you're looking to learn something new or develop your existing skills, our Sewing Club is the perfect place to be. We've created a relaxed, supportive environment where you can explore your creativity through textiles and making.

What to Expect

Our Sewing Club welcomes everyone, regardless of experience level:

  • Complete beginners: Never touched a needle and thread? No problem! We'll teach you the basics and help you build confidence.
  • Some experience: Already know a bit but want to improve? We'll help you develop your skills further.
  • Experienced sewers: Looking for a friendly space to work on projects with others? Come along and share your knowledge!

Creating an Inclusive Space

This club has been specifically designed with neurodiverse young people in mind. We understand that traditional craft spaces aren't always accessible to everyone, so we've created an environment that:

  • Provides a sensory-friendly space
  • Offers clear, step-by-step instructions
  • Allows for working at your own pace
  • Welcomes different communication styles
  • Celebrates neurodiversity in all its forms
