Are you aged 16–25 and currently caring for someone or have you cared for someone in the past? The Young Carers Group at The Warren offers a welcoming space to meet others who understand, access support, and take time for yourself. We recognise the important role young carers play and aim to provide support that helps you feel connected, confident, and supported.

What is the Young Carers Group?
The Young Carers Group is a monthly meet-up for young people with caring responsibilities. It’s a chance to step away from day-to-day pressures, spend time with others, and access support in a relaxed, friendly environment.
What happens in the sessions?
The group meets once a month at The Warren at 5.30pm. Sessions are relaxed and may include time to socialise with other young carers, take part in shared activities, and have space to talk, listen, or simply take a break.
Beyond the young carers group
As part of the Young Carers Group, you can access free, confidential support including employment advice, counselling, food parcels, and helpful signposting to other services. All support is person-centred, flexible, and shaped around your individual needs.
Young Carers
At the heart of the Young Carers Group are the young people who shape it. Their voices and experiences show the real impact of having the right support in place.
