Forged brings together all of The Warren’s creative activity under one youth-led programme. From one-off workshops to long-term projects, Forged gives young people the space, support, and freedom to explore creativity on their own terms.
Artistic Support & Development
Forged doesn’t just introduce young people to creativity — it helps them develop their skills, find their voice, and build pathways into creative futures.
Young people work alongside professional artists and creatives, gaining insight into creative industries and the confidence to take their work further — locally and nationally.
I liked the sessions because I got to focus on something positive and not get into trouble
I have learned creative skills in gigging and improving my confidence when I do gigs, but also networking and learning how to communicate with other musicians in the area outside of Warren Records. I have also learned instrument maintenance, how to look after my instruments
Going to a WTFIT session pushed me out of my comfort zone and taught me that I can do things that are a surprise to me and the world will not end.
